Ecomali's Waste Monitoring solution allows cities and businesses to uncover and understand the complex dynamics of their waste production. The solution provides real-time online access to data related to monitored bins, boxes, or containers. Waste Monitoring solution combines Smart IoT Sensors, The Ecomali Digital Waste Management Platform, and The Ecomali Mobile App.

The IoT Sensors use ultrasonic technology to measure the fill levels (along with other data) in bins several times a day. By partnering with mobile network operators, like Safaricom to leverage on their Safaricom IoT Network, the sensors send the data to the Ecomali Digital Platform to create a solution for data-driven daily operations to our customers.
